This webring is devoted to pages of any programming system which is used to create text adventures, with or without graphics. Some of these systems include TADS, HUGO, Quill & PAW, AGT, Creative Adventure Toolkit, WinPaw, and Inform. Some of these systems have webpages which are part of this webring.

In researching the other systems, I have found that a good percentage of them are called Interactive Fiction Design systems. However, Interactive Fiction Design systems are used to create Text Adventures, so I am not going to change the name of the WebRing.
